Lionel Messi va por su noveno Balón de Oro: los otros candidatos

Resumen del corpus

Lionel Messi is on track to win his ninth Ballon d'Or, with other candidates including Harry Kane, Rodrigo Hernández, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappé. Messi's outstanding performance in the 2026 World Cup, where he scored eight goals and provided four assists, has made him a strong contender. Other notable players include Harry Kane, who won the Bundesliga and the German Cup with Bayern Munich, and scored over 70 goals. Rodrigo Hernández was the key player for Spain in the World Cup, while Lamine Yamal, despite a poor World Cup performance, was a standout for Barcelona. Kylian Mbappé, with his impressive stats at Real Madrid and 10 goals in the World Cup, is also a strong candidate.
