Why Titans' trade of Jeffrey Simmons to Bears is a bad omen for Cam Ward

Resumen del corpus

The Tennessee Titans traded defensive lineman Jeffrey Simmons to the Chicago Bears in exchange for draft picks. This trade is viewed as a bad omen for quarterback Cam Ward, as it suggests the Titans are not planning to contend for the next couple of seasons. The move indicates the team is far from being competitive, potentially leading to a parting ways with Ward, despite the team holding multiple first-round picks for future draft capital.
